Alumni , Areas of Study , Digital Business Society IT / Information Systems | Apr 11, 2013 | Nicole Gesualdo
Get ready to meet Saleem Khan (FCRH ’02), a senior director of IT at Standard & Poor’s.
He’s coming to talk about his career, and how a little investment in technology as part of your education — some courses in digital business, a few electives — can open avenues to all kinds of companies.
Join members of the Digital Business Society for this event:
Date: Thursday, April 18, 2013
Time: 6:00 p.m. to 7:15 p.m.
Location: Daleo Hall B (lower level of Hughes)

Mr. Khan will talk about his career at S&P and his background, which is centered on “enterprise architecture.” (He describes this field often enough that he’s prepared a handy PDF explainer for you.)
No matter what area of business interests you — whether you’re into finance, marketing, accounting, e-business and IT, communications and media, or something else — Mr. Khan can offer solid advice about using tech to open doors for yourself. Find out about:
- His Fordham degree, career path and current work
- What S&P does, and why that’s valuable to industry
- The data-visualization work Juvoni Beckford (GSB ’13) did at S&P, which he supervised
- Career strategy and planning
Mr. Khan wants to devote a lot of time to questions and answers, so come with things you want to ask. If you have any questions in advance, contact the Digital Business Society at digitalfordham@gmail.com.
