Our friends at Fordham GBA would like to invite all Gabelli School of Business students to a lecture next Tuesday, December 18, given by Maurice R. Greenberg, the chairman and CEO of C.V. Starr and Co. and the former chairman and CEO of AIG.

Lecture: The U.S.-Philippine Relationship: A Heightened Importance
Date: Tuesday, December 18, 2012
Time: 11:00 a.m.

Presented by the Philippine American Chamber of Commerce, Mr. Greenberg’s talk will delve into the experience of his company, C.V. Starr, in Asia. Mr. Greenberg joined the worldwide insurance and investment company in 1960 and brings vast historical and international perspective.

Mr. Greenberg retired as chairman and CEO of American International Group, Inc. (AIG) in March 2005, after serving as chief executive officer since 1967. Under his leadership, AIG became the largest insurance company in the world and generated unprecedented value for AIG shareholders. During the nearly 40 years of his tenure, AIG’s market value grew from $300 million to $l80 billion. AIG was created by C.V. Starr & Co., Inc.

If you are still in New York on December 18 and haven’t left for winter vacation, consider attending this GBA event! Our colleagues at the graduate school hope to see you there.
