Oct. 25: Economics Society brings UBS speakers to Fordham

Two UBS staff members are coming to Rose Hill to talk about wealth management and the paths that led them to their careers in it. Sponsored by the Economics Society, the panel discussion is open to all Gabelli School students.

Here are some details on the two presenters:

William Giordano is a senior wealth strategy associate and partner at The Weinberger Group, a financial advisory team at UBS Financial Services. He specializes in client coverage, investment analysis and research.  He graduated from St. John’s University and received an MBA from Fordham University. Prior to joining UBS in 2011, William worked as a senior investment associate at Merrill Lynch for seven years and at private equity firm Trautman Wasserman & Co. He earned the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC®) designation from the College for Financial Planning.

Ryan C. Sochacki, an investment associate with UBS’s advisory and brokerage services division, has been with UBS Financial Services Inc. for more than four years. He has earned the Accredited Asset Management Specialist designation from the College for Financial Planning and holds a B.A. from Williams College in Williamstown, Massachusetts.
