High-ranking faculty chairs like this one have been made possible by donations from Fordham alumni and others. Professor Lothian’s comes from Bill Toppeta (FCRH ’70), president of MetLife’s international business, pictured above, who generously responded to a matching-gift proposal from Mario Gabelli (GSB ’65) with the funding to create this position. You can demonstrate your support for Mr. Toppeta and Mr. Gabelli by coming out to see Professor Lothian officially assume the chair and deliver the first Toppeta Family Lecture.
Professor Lothian’s talk will be on “Financial Globalization in Historical Perspective.”
This is a great chance to show Fordham’s alumni, faculty and donors how much Gabelli School students appreciate their contributions to a Fordham education. Don’t forget to let the alumni office know you are coming by submitting your name via this form.
