Areas of Study , Finance Success Stories | Oct 21, 2011 |

Morgan Stanley will welcome a new full-time employee next summer in Marcus Lindberg, who will graduate from the Gabelli School of Business in May 2012 with a degree in finance and a minor in American Catholic Studies.

Marcus has been hired as a junior associate in Morgan Stanley’s equity research department and will be based in the heart of Times Square, at the company’s 1585 Broadway office. The equity research team looks at economic, market, industry and company data to enhance the performance of Morgan Stanley’s clients’ global portfolios and to help companies set strategic directions. Marcus’s job will be to write equity reports that will be used in these investment decisions.

Previously , Marcus had a summer 2011 internship at Morgan Stanley as a finance summer analyst and a spring 2011 internship at Rogge Global Partners, where he wrote research reports on high-yield bonds. Before college, he was a squad leader in the Swedish Air Force.

Best wishes to Marcus in finishing out the rest of this academic year and in beginning a new career that lines up ideally with his field of study. Congratulations!
