Here’s a little more about this year’s speaker:
Winner of the inaugural season of The Apprentice, Bill Rancic has parlayed his success into a truly varied career. He develops real estate in Chicago, visits businesses and organizations around the world as a guest speaker, and keeps his hand in the TV game as both a producer and star. This month, he begins the fifth season of Style Network’s reality series “Giuliana and Bill,” in which he appears with his wife.
Most recently, Mr. Rancic became the host of America Now and makes regular appearances on Today, The View, Rachael Ray and CNBC programs as a resource on business and entrepreneurship. His book You’re Hired: How To Succeed In Business And Life became a New York Times bestseller, and, drawing on his pre-Apprentice background as an entrepreneur, he more recently wrote Beyond The Lemonade Stand. This book — all of whose proceeds have gone to charity — aims to educate young people about the value of money and motivate them to use their skills, talents and abilities from an early age.
A graduate of Loyola University, Bill went on to become a successful entrepreneur when he founded Cigars Around The World, a monthly online subscription-based retailer that became a multi-million dollar enterprise.
