John Caplan, founder and CEO of OpenSky, an up-and-coming social shopping site with about 3 million members, will deliver the opening address next month at the Gabelli School’s Entrepreneurship Conference, a.k.a. TrepCon.

Mr. Caplan is a visible manifestation of the Gabelli School’s mission to bring bigger and better speakers to TrepCon, which gives Fordham students direct access to venture capitalists, CEOs and others on the forefront of entrepreneurship.

TrepCon is an all-day event, but you can come to as much or as little of it as you want. All for free.

So register here to learn how Mr. Caplan developed an e-commerce site that was named one of Forbes’ most promising companies in 2012, when it cited revenues of $18 million (up a full $4 million from the year before). Mr. Caplan also may speak a bit about his prior jobs as CEO of Ford Models and as president of About.com during its growth period in the late 1990s.

We hope to see you at TrepCon!
