OpenSky CEO John Caplan confirmed for TrepCon

John Caplan, founder and CEO of OpenSky, an up-and-coming social shopping site with about 3 million members, will deliver the opening address next month at the Gabelli School’s Entrepreneurship Conference, a.k.a. TrepCon.

Mr. Caplan is a visible manifestation of the Gabelli School’s mission to bring bigger and better speakers to TrepCon, which gives Fordham students direct access to venture capitalists, CEOs and others on the forefront of entrepreneurship.
TrepCon is an all-day event, but you can come to as much or as little of it as you want. All for free.

Mr. Caplan also may speak a bit about his prior jobs as CEO of Ford Models and as president of About.com during its growth period in the late 1990s.
