PwC wants you to be ready for the 2011 xTreme Games!

In business, theory is executed in real time. Decisions have consequences. Communication is key. Collaborative, team-oriented thinking is a must. The same holds true in the xTREME Games, PwC’s campus competitions in tax and accounting.

PwC seeks students who are eager to escape the safe confines of the classroom and plunge briefly into the outside business world to show what they’re made of as critical thinkers, able collaborators and persuasive advisors on important business issues.

No mere number-crunching exercises, the xTREME Games are focused on high-level issues designed to test and improve your decision-making skills. Detailed accounting or tax knowledge is not required to participate. What is required is your desire to learn, meet people, experience new challenges and have fun.

Last year, students from colleges and universities around the country chose to participate in the xTAX competition.  Team with your friends to learn more about high-level accounting policy issues. Gain recognition for your teamwork, reasoning and communication skills. Connect with professionals at PwC who can provide mentoring for your career pursuits, all while having fun and competing for substantial awards!

To learn more about the competition at Fordham, please join us for our campus launch in the McGinley Center Lobby on Tuesday, October 11, 2011, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. You will hear more about this exciting opportunity, meet some of our past participants and have time to start thinking about forming your team.
