Success story: Jennifer Fazzolari lands at Ernst & Young

After a successful internship in the Assurance division of Ernst & Young last summer, Jennifer Fazzolari (GSB ’12) will join the firm full-time in January 2013. Why the long wait? Because first, Jennifer will complete her M.S. in taxation at Fordham’s Graduate School of Business Administration. We at Gabelli are extremely proud of Jennifer on both fronts!

Jennifer’s internship took her to the Times Square location of E&Y’s financial services office, where she focused on the banking/capital markets sector. She worked primarily with one client, a European bank. That continuity allowed her to experience three phases of an audit: the walkthrough stage, the team planning event and the half-year review. “I got a lot of great knowledge and exposure to my client and E&Y’s audit procedures,” Jennifer said.

An accounting major with a concentration in marketing, Jennifer was offered the opportunity to work part-time for E&Y as an intern with the financial accounting advisory services group until she begins full-time in 2013. This will give her insight into a different side of Assurance and expand her network within the firm.

Congratulations, Jennifer!
