Gabelli School undergraduate programs place prominently in rankings

Undergraduate | Jan 16, 2018 |

The Gabelli School started out the new year with strong standing in undergraduate business school rankings.

In the U.S. News and World Report 2018 ranking, the Gabelli School placed in the national top 25 in four undergraduate areas: #8 in international business; #13 in finance; #15 in entrepreneurship; and #18 in marketing.

Another 2018 ranking came from Poets & Quants for Undergrads. This list, which debuted after Businessweek stopped ranking undergraduate programs, is only in its second year. The methodology spans admissions metrics, the academic experience, and employment outcomes.

All of the 100 institutions included in Poets & Quants’ ranking were already in the top 16th percentile of accredited undergraduate business programs, meaning the results showcase the best of the best. Within this high-performing group, the Gabelli School of Business ranked #40.

The Gabelli School also received an overall “A” grade in two areas based on the alumni survey: how available faculty make themselves for mentoring and informal meetings outside of class, and whether recent graduates would recommend the program to a close friend or colleague.
