The Gabelli School of Business EMBA focuses on delivering a stellar executive-level business education to a diverse cohort of rising executives from New York City, across the nation, and around the world. The 22-month accelerated format is designed for working professionals and meets 1 three-day weekend per month. Curriculum focuses on Management Development (Leading and Managing People) and Strategy, (Creating, Delivering, and Sustaining Value), immersing students in the topics that are most relevant in today’s rapidly evolving business environment and addressing pressing ethical issues.

The highly coveted Poets&Quants EMBA ranking is a composite based on a schools’ performance of its U.S.-based programs in the three major EMBA rankings: U.S. News & World Report, the Financial Times, and The Economist. Each of these rankings is centered on very different methodologies, and P&Q gives equal credit to all three rankings—making a top-10 ranking all the more difficult to achieve.

“We are absolutely thrilled to receive this #10 ranking from Poets&Quants for the Gabelli EMBA program. It serves to acknowledge the caliber of the education we provide; the achievements of the program’s faculty, students, and alumni; as well as the tremendous opportunities it creates for rising executives,” said Francis Petit, EdD, associate dean of global initiatives at the Gabelli School of Business, who oversees the program. More than 24% of those graduating with a Gabelli EMBA are promoted to senior management roles (based on data as of December 2021).

Gabelli School of Business Interim Dean Lerzan Aksoy, PhD, commented, “It takes a tremendous amount of effort to achieve a ranking of this level, and I am deeply appreciative of the hard work, determination, and drive of all of those who made this incredible accomplishment possible. The Gabelli School of Business is on the move, and this ranking attests to the fact that its programs are competitive at the very highest levels.”
