(U/G) Week 9: Investor-Based Models

What can investors do to affect corporate behavior and purpose? How does “impact investing” work? Are there metrics by which a socially responsible investor can evaluate potential investments? What are the trade-offs to investors? Do money managers have a fiduciary duty to their investors to maximize returns?

There will be two guest speakers for the session:

– Margaret Moore. Maggie is a Vice President at Goldman Sachs and leads their ESG efforts for their Fundamental Equity group.

– Danielle Sugarman. Formerly with the Robertson Foundation, Danielle now works in the BlackRock ESG group.
