Our March speaker will be Stephen Cash, BS ’04, founding partner at Seven Eight Capital LLC.

Stephen Cash, BS ’04, is a co-founding partner at Seven Eight Capital, a quantitative investment firm focused on systematic trading strategies. Sven Eight Capital currently manages a $4 Billion Dollar Portfolio and has built a 6-year track record of delivering very high risk-adjusted returns.
Prior to Seven Eight, he co-managed the Statistical Arbitrage Group at IVC Americas. Stephen has also worked as a quant trader on the Proprietary Trading desk at Lehman Brothers and at Bank of America Merrill Lynch and as a Portfolio Manager at WorldQuant. He has an extensive background in applied mathematics and finance, completing his BS in Finance with a minor in Mathematics at Fordham and his MS in Computational Finance from Carnegie Mellon University.
Stephen has given guest lectures on quantitative finance at CMU, MIT, University of Chicago and the International Association for Quantitative Finance’s How I Became a Quant series. He also sits on the alumni admissions committee for Carnegie Mellon University’s MS in Computational Finance.
