This is an all-day event on April 18 starting at 9:00 a.m. that includes mentoring sessions within business groups at the bank and a lunchtime Networking Fair. Location will be provided upon registration.
BNP Paribas’ Mentoring and Networking Day is designed to promote career development for students and job seekers with disabilities through hands-on career exploration, on-site job shadowing and ongoing mentoring. Our ultimate goal is to source candidates for potential hire at BNP Paribas and to build a more diverse workplace. The day also provides an opportunity for mentees to see what a particular job looks like at a major money center financial institution. Based on the feedback we have received in past years, it has been a rewarding and emotional experience for our guests and BNP Paribas participants. While it is a one-day event, our Mentoring and Networking Day provides an opportunity for ongoing mentoring and making connections with individuals at the bank for guidance regarding education/career path.
Candidates for the 2019 summer internship opportunity would typically be a rising junior (students between their junior and senior years when the 2019 internship takes place). Our summer internship program is structured to identify potential candidates for full-time employment through our annual analyst training program. The interns from the summer of 2019 would be candidates for our training program in June 2020. In the past we’ve included graduating seniors and graduate students in our Mentoring and Networking Day even though the focus is on our summer internship program.
