(G) HTD PowerPoint Training

October 12, 2018 @ 9:00 am - 4:00 pm

Event Navigation

FMCA and FGMS are offering a PowerPoint training opportunity Friday, October 12. This training is open to all graduate students interested in sharpening their PowerPoint skills. We strongly encourage participation as many internship positions and early roles post-graduation will require strong presentation deliverables to share information with colleagues and clients. This training will be especially valuable for those interested in a career in consulting, banking, strategy, or marketing. Here are the details.

What it is:

Hit the Deck is a three-hour in-person workshop that provides students with a process for creating slides effectively and quickly. It covers both the strategic design of the deck (storyboarding) and the tactical PowerPoint tips. It’s taught by Nick Maglio, a Kellogg MBA graduate who spent his entire career at Deloitte and now works in strategy. He teaches all around the country including the top MBA programs, such as Wharton, Sloan, CBS, Kellogg, Johnson, Stern, and many others.

We will be charging $20 per student per session. There will be two identical sessions for your convenience (9:00 a.m. to 12:00pm) and (1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.). You may only attend ONE.

Please note: sign up early to guarantee yourself a seat, as there are only 35 spots available per session.
