Farm Free or Die: A Film Screening & Sustainability Conversation with Director Roger Sorkin

February 24, 2023 @ 1:30 pm - 3:30 pm

Event Navigation

The Gabelli School of Business will be hosting a screening of “Farm Free or Die,” a unique documentary that looks at how extreme climate changes are impacting our agriculture and food supply.

Combined with the mounting costs of conventional farming methods that require increasingly expensive fossil-based fertilizer, pesticides and herbicides for ever decreasing yields, these events are driving many farmers to economic failure.

You won’t want to miss this exclusive business school experience as Roger hosts an interactive discussion with esteemed panelists on the importance of policy change and strategies to strengthen food security.

Roger will be recording this conversation for the next episode of his podcast.

We look forward to welcoming you to our first ever viewing experience with Roger Sorkin!

*For GSB Students pursuing their RBL Certification, attending this event counts towards the sustainability step.
