Legal cannabis (marijuana) is expected to produce annual revenues of over $20 billion in the United States by the end of next year. To date, this emerging industry has rewritten many of the ‘rules’ for management, particularly in areas important to women managers and entrepreneurs who face lower compensation and fewer advancement opportunities in non-cannabis ventures. This panel will examine how these rules are changing, together with the implications for innovation in management and venture financing.
