Gabelli students awarded prestigious marketing fellowship

When the Gabelli School’s marketing faculty drew up plans for the first-ever Paul Reilly Advertising Fellowship in collaboration with worldwide ad agency BBDO, they were looking for one student fellow who demonstrated extraordinary passion, commitment, creativity, and integrity.
They found two.
Michaela Deitrick, BS ’18, and Nazifa Nasim, BS ’17, both were awarded the fellowship after interviews with BBDO executives and were offered 10-week paid internships in New York City.
Consistent with the University’s commitment to fostering experiential learning, the program helps support students seeking to advance their education beyond the classroom. With the Gabelli School’s emphasis on hands-on experiences in the commercial capital of New York City, it’s no surprise that BBDO found talented students at Fordham looking to do just that.
