On February 26, the Alternative Investments Program held the first in a series of alumni industry dinners, led by the program’s director, Clinical Professor Kevin R. Mirabile, D.P.S., and Phil Belardi, GABELLI ’14, head of the Fordham Alternative Investments Alumni Association (FAIAA). The inaugural dinner, which was hosted by Greg Manocherian, PAR ’22, Alternative Investments Senior Advisory Council member, brought together 20 executives, mid-career professionals, and students involved in the real estate industry to dine and network at the Empire Steak House in New York City.
The next event in the series, which will be hosted by Alex Wright, GABELLI ’00, chair of the Alternative Investments Senior Advisory Council, will center around the private credit industry and take place on April 8. The FAIAA is planning future dinners and networking events that will convene alumni from various industries, including hedge funds, venture capital, private equity, commodities, and wealth management. The dinner series is made possible through the generosity of the Alternative Investments Advisory Council and other members of our alumni community.
