Rose Hill Campus, 441 E Fordham Rd, Bronx NY 10458

The Gabelli School Graduate Diploma Ceremony will take place in person at the Rose Hill Campus. Individual graduate names will be read at this event, and students will be invited to walk across the stage in front of family and friends. The ceremony will also include guest speakers and an address from Dean Rapaccioli.

*This ceremony will be live-streamed for those who wish to watch remotely.

WHEN & WHERE TO ARRIVE

Students should begin arriving at 1:30 p.m. and should arrive no later than 2:30 p.m. Upon arrival, students should head to location A (grass area between Keating and Spellman) on this map to check in.

Guests should head to the guest seating area on Edward’s Parade to be seated for the ceremony. There will be volunteers and signage to help indicate where to go.

CHECK IN

Upon arrival, you will be directed to check-in tables where you will provide your name to one of our volunteers. The volunteer will hand you a sheet of paper that includes your name, name pronunciation guide, program, and group number. DO NOT LOSE THIS NAME SHEET. Your name sheet is how you will find where to line up, how name readers will know who you are, and how the photographer will be able to identify which official pictures belong to you.

Once you receive your name sheet, please use the maps and signs provided to find where you should line up. Students will be called up to the stage by program, so it is important that you join the correct line. Check in will close at 2:30 p.m.

CAPS & GOWNS

If You Ordered for Pick Up

As a reminder, students are required to be wearing a cap and gown in order to participate in the Main Commencement Ceremony on May 21st and the Gabelli Diploma Ceremony which is taking place on May 24th. If you placed an order for a cap and gown to be picked up at Lincoln Center or Westchester, please review the pick-up times below. Please note: You will need to provide your email confirmation and student ID when picking up your cap and gown.

**Due to ongoing supply chain issues, hoods will not arrive in time for the May 14th pick up, so it has been canceled. To make up for this, we will be allowing students to pick up their academic regalia on the day of the ceremony, May 24th, at the Rose Hill campus beginning at 8 a.m. If you choose this option, please ensure you arrive early enough to get your gown before the ceremony starts. See updated pick up information below:

If You Did Not Order In Advance
If you did not place an order for a cap and gown by the deadline, there will be an opportunity to purchase a cap and gown at the pick-ups at Lincoln Center only, but please note, they will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. There also may be additional late fee.

Please note: There are less extra gowns available this year due to a number of factors including supply chain issues and the number of 2020 and 2021 students graduating in addition to the 2022 students. Our cap and gown supplier will do their best to accommodate all students who want to walk in the ceremonies, but they will not be able to guarantee that there will be extra gowns remaining by the final pick-up date.

We are fortunate to have the Metro-North Harlem and New Haven line trains literally at our doorstep and recommend you consider the train if traveling from Manhattan, Westchester County, or Connecticut. For detailed schedule information on the Metro-North trains, visit the MTA website at mta.info/mnr.
