Dr. Hodges will speak about character-based strengths and employee engagement. These topics could be of interest to students who plan to manage a large workforce in the future. All Fordham Schools of Business faculty are invited to attend this presentation.

Tim Hodges, Ph.D., is a director of research for Gallup’s education practice. He consults with K-12 school districts and higher education institutions and leads research projects in strengths development, employee selection, employee engagement and well-being. He also directs Gallup’s Campus Wellbeing Consortium, a select group of higher education institutions dedicated to improving the well-being of their students, faculty, staff and communities.
Dr. Hodges has delivered presentations and written journal articles and technical reports on many topics, including the Clifton StrengthsFinder, strengths-based development, Positive Psychology and leadership development. He has contributed chapters to the books Positive Psychology in Practice, Organizational Behavior (10th Edition), and the Oxford Handbook of Positive Psychology and Work.
He received a bachelor’s degree in agribusiness, a master’s degree in leadership education, and a doctorate in business from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
