MBA program seeking consulting projects from businesses

Full-Time Cohort MBA students are looking for a few good consulting projects.

To complete their program, students will spend spring 2016 paired with a company or nonprofit, examining a real business dilemma and providing proposed solutions.

Fordham is now looking to find those organizations.

Associate Professor Aditya Saharia, who coordinates the consulting course, hopes that businesses or nonprofit groups will come forward with substantial, MBA-caliber business challenges that students can tackle.

Saharia pointed out that the MBA teams will provide pro bono services; all that organizations need to provide is a problem-solving role for the team and a designated staff member to work with the students and their faculty supervisor.

The project will last seven weeks.

Saharia said members of the Gabelli School of Business Advisory Board will be assisting the students, who will be graded on their final recommendation to the company or nonprofit, the quality of their process management, and their professionalism, in addition to a peer evaluation and team self-assessment.

Interested businesses should reach out to Saharia by email no later than September 25 at
