Robert Hurley named trust expert for ethics organization

Robert Hurley, PhD, a professor of management systems at the Gabelli School of Business, was named a trust expert for Ethical Systems, a nonprofit organization housed within the business and society program at NYU’s Leonard N. Stern School of Business.

Hurley has earned a place on this team of leading academics in the field of ethics, all of whom share the belief that good ethics is good business. Participation in this organization will enhance the visibility and reach of Hurley’s research; it also will allow him to work directly with new networks of executives who want to cultivate trust in their leadership style and general business practices.

Hurley noted the synergy between the mission of Ethical Systems and that of the Consortium for Trustworthy Organizations, a Gabelli School research center that he founded and still leads.
