Consulting Club: collaboration, creativity, and career prep

screenshot-2Do you love to travel? Would you like to get better at solving problems? Are you good at multitasking and creative thinking?

If you said yes to any of these, join the undergraduate Consulting Club!

New to Fordham, the Consulting Club was started by a group of juniors who enjoyed sophomore year’s Consulting Cup Challenge so much that they decided to create a club to keep the momentum going.

After the IP challenge, we would talk constantly about our business,” said Sahcha Pierre-Louis, BS ’18, one of the two founders and the current vice president of the club. “With what
Fordham has available, there aren’t any clubs or classes on consulting, [so] we’re very excited to get our club started.”

The club’s mission is to “equip passionate students with the problem-solving skills needed to effectively pair creativity and opportunity in the consulting world.” To successfully carry out this mission, the club plans to invite guest speakers from the consulting industry, hold workshops, and study consulting cases.

We’re here to help you get more familiar with consulting,” said Ling (Cheryl) Yang, BS ’18, president and the other co-founder, “even if you’re not in Gabelli.”

If you think consulting might interest you as a possible career move, join the club and its LinkedIn group page.
